Beacon Magazine front page
We're thinking of changing the front cover page in the Beacon magazine probably from May onwards and would like your opinion... There are 5 options... 1 keep the current version 2-5 add an image on the front page 2 sheep 3 pony 4 pony with added gorse 5 a new free The options are in posts in this web site. To see them more clearly click on the title of the post, then click on the image. You can add a comment to one of the options. I realise this may seem a bit old hat, but the Beacons not the Beacon without it's famous bright orange cover. This one's for.me.

ReplyDeleteI prefer the simple black illustration. The four colour pics seems a little too dominant, and I would get fed up looking at the same pic every month. I presume four colour pics are also more expensive to print.
ReplyDeleteThat said, you might think of changing the single-colour illustration every now and then on some kind of rota, if you had several black-ink drawings that mouth suit: maybe images of sheep-ponies-river-bird. I don't know what.
I like the orange that we are all used to, and the clear title, and the price and month on the front. It all makes sense.
